While traveling solo through parts of Europe last year, I began practicing yoga, meditating, and going deeply into my heart. And I began to remember the girl I used to be. The girl I’d always known and trusted to be aligned with her heart, but had forgotten was there until recently.

And I began to realize that true happiness comes from that sense of knowing who you really are, and how you are connected to the Whole. This poem, Beautiful You (Remembering Who I Used to Be) came out of that realization.

May these words help you find your own “Beautiful You”. The You who will never steer you wrong as you find your own best Self, even as I am finding my own.

In light and love,

Ella

BEAUTIFUL YOU a poem by Pamela (Ella) Whitfield

Beautiful You Sweet soul

Say hello to the new day

Birdsongs greet

The remembrance

Of your sweet nature

True to your birthright

A beautiful soul

Awakens anew today

Recall the gentle

Stirrings of your inner

Beautiful self

On this Spring day.

Amidst your fiery heart

Longing to be once again

True to your

Beautiful inner grace

Be your first love

Beautiful Girl

Beautiful You
